Refund Policy
All custom made trailers & custom ordered trailers are final sale once the order has been placed. We do not refund custom trailers. This includes all (Smart Car, ATV & Side Car trailers along with any trailer we need you to fill out a custom order form for).
We want all our customers to have a wonderful experience and we know sometimes with an online purchase it doesn’t end up being the right product for you. At Stinger Trailer we understand that and work with you to make sure your refund experience is an easy and quick process to keep you satisfied.
All Refunded payments will be refunded to the original form of payment made at the time of purchase.
Stingertrailer.com warrants to the original retail purchaser that the Stinger Trailer is free from defects in material and workmanship; and agrees to repair or replace, at Stingertrailer.com’s discretion. Any defective parts are free of charge within one year from the date of purchase, if the product is used for personal use only.
The warranty is not transferable and does not cover damage that is a result of defects, other than in material or workmanship. Warranty does not cover damage caused by unreasonable use, including the failure to provided reasonable and necessary maintenance. Also, the warranty obligations do not apply to conditions resulting from misuse, alteration, or accident. In addition, this warranty does not cover replacement of non-defective parts (such as electrical wires and plugs) that may wear and need to be replaced within the warranty period in connection to regular maintenance.
Extended Warranty (2) Two Years:
Our 2 year warranty is a manufacturer warranty on all our Stinger trailers. The extended warranty does not cover the trailers if there has been any modifications, if there has been any modifications made the warranty will be void.
The warranty does not cover any accidents or collision with the trailers or any natural disaster that has caused damage to your trailer.
DAMAGES NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY DUE TO MISUSE
Warranty will not cover damages caused by travelling more than the designated 80 mph maximum that the tires are rated at, as well damaged cause by improper trailer use.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE
Warranty service can be obtained from Stingertrailer.com (1-800-577-8809). Shipping charges for parts sent back to the repair center are the responsibility of the purchaser depending on the type of defect to the product.
RETURNS
Returns that are not the result of a warranty claim are at the expense of the purchaser. Purchaser will be responsible for paying the return shipping cost, as well as the original shipping cost. Trailer must be new, and can NOT be used or registered for the return to be approved by Stinger Trailers. It is also the responsibility of the purchaser to prepare the returning trailer for shipment. This includes (but is not limited to) acquiring a pallet, proper securing, and delivery to the freight terminal if necessary.
Why We Charge A 15% Restocking Fee.
It may not seem apparent at first glance, but Stinger Trailer does experience immediate upfront costs associated with your new Stinger Trailer order.
THESE COSTS INCLUDE:
1. CREDIT CARD FEES – With every financial transaction we undergo, whether we receive or return as a payment via Credit Card, there are associated fees we must pay for each transaction done via each of the Credit Cards we honor.
2. REGISTRATION & OWNERSHIP – Upon receiving your order Stinger Trailer will and must undergo a series of regulatory and mandated tasks regarding document preparations that needs to be set in place for the Transfer, Ownership and Registration of your new Stinger Trailer. We do this as a matter of good business practice immediately upon receiving your order to ensure there are no delays when it is time to ship your new Stinger Trailer to you.
3. RESELLING & RESTOCKING OF GOODS – Upon return of any product Stinger Trailer must now regard those items as used goods, regardless of the excellent condition that are returned back to us. Unfortunately, the restocking of such items returned now must be sold as used goods at a inherent loss. From products returned there are also other unforeseen costs we undergo such as preforming careful product inspections and re shelving inventory and warehouse man hours we will need to absorb.
We appreciate your business and in the interest of full disclosure we do not charge a restocking fee in an effort to assume an aftermarket profit from returned items. The costs we absorb to fulfill your order we do so as a regular course of doing business. When an order is returned there are unfortunate upfront costs Stinger Trailer does assume.
